This is one of the systems I taught him... (and there's 3 bonuses at the end) DON'T SKIP AHEAD! I chose this method to teach him because it was the fastest to setup, easiest to maintain, and it would build a HUGE subscriber list for him. I made $250/day for over 5 months with this when I was using it. Then I sold that site for $15,000 and moved on. So I suggest you pay close attention... #Start Lesson# Obviously, we started with niche research. He decided on muscle building. He's into that stuff and does pull ups while wearing weights! He has a big nose too, don't tell him I said that tho ;-D Ok back to seriousness... I'm going to use his niche as an example but you can do this with any market. Even if you hate affiliate marketing and have your own product. Step #1: Build a squeeze page offering a free video or free webinar about muscle building. Step #2: Instantly redirect every subscriber to the page with your video/webinar replay Step #3: Your video/webinar is about 10 - 15mins long and gives a short lesson on muscle building. Something like 7 best tips for adding lean muscle. Blah blah blah Step #4: The last 2-3 minutes of your video is telling the viewer about a product you recommend related to your lesson. Step #5: Buy a domain name related to the product you are promoting. Like forcefactorrocks.com and forward it to your affiliate link. On your video/webinar you tell them to go to ForceFactorRocks.com and it redirects them to your affiliate link for Force Factor. Step #6: Write a 4 part autoresponder series that starts with a reminder to watch the video/webinar you promised. Then 3 emails about the benefits of the product you recommended at the end of the video. Step #7: Buy solo ad traffic and CPV traffic sending it to your squeeze page. (these methods are cheap) I originally used Google Adwords, but they don't allow this method anymore. So we switched to Solo's and CPV. Now you'll be building a list and making sales at the same time. Plus it will be easy to grow. I started with $2/day in traffic and grew it to spending $900/mo on traffic because it was so profitable. I was making almost $4 for every $1 in traffic I bought! There's a VERY big marketing lesson inside this story... Wow! Look at how many tickets that Dad has Says my son... Which ignites a fire of jealousy and pride in my heart so I take a knee and whisper into his ear... Want me to show you the secret to getting LOTS of tickets, buddy? He shook his head up and down so fast and with such a big smile, I was worried he might hurt himself. I walked my boy over to the change machine, pulled out a $20 bill, and told my son to fill his pockets. Just like a rookie marketer with a new idea he wanted to run off to the first thing that looked good, but I settled him down first. As we sat in a booth, I told him the secret was not how much money we spent on tokens, or how fast he could play the games, or even how well he played each of the games. The secret was learning which game gave the most tickets per token. HUH? It was too complex of a thought for an 8yr old to explain with just words. So I took him to the game he usually plays and doesn't get lots of tickets from. It was the one with all the tokens leaning off the edge. Where it looks like with just one tiny bump they'll all come falling off, but it's a trick. Just like the tricks we see in the marketing world. They look so enticing and like they'll make us sooo much money without much work. But we know the truth... We end up working our ass off! And so did my son, wasting token after token on games that didn't give him a good return. After $3 and only 14 tickets, I stopped him. Then we went back to the booth. I told him I watched him spend 12 tokens, and made him count his tickets. 12 tokens 14 tickets That's about 1 ticket per token. Now, I told him to follow me and I took him to my favorite game as a kid. The one where you have to press the button at just the right time to win the jackpot. And if you didn't then maybe you landed in the 5 tickets or 6 tickets spots right next to the jackpot. I told him with a little practice and skill you can always get at least 5 tickets for every token you put into this machine. And sometimes you'll even hit the jackpot! Then I let him spend another $3 on my game He didn't even get to the second dollar before he was already jumping up and down about how many tickets were coming out of the machine. And on his 11th token he hit the jackpot. I thought he would jump through the roof! Seeing how happy I made him, my eyes got hot and wet. Knowing that I had just taught him an important lesson made me feel even more proud. The games my son was playing were a lot like the marketing methods and tools we use everyday. Each of them has a different payout. If you DON'T know what activities have the highest payout then you'll constantly be working hard for little results. Like when my son spent his first 12 tokens on a game that only gave him 14 tickets. Yes, it worked, but it didn't get him the BIG result he wanted.
