The holidays are certainly a time to reflect on the goodness life brings to us and nothing feels better than passing that on to others. We adopted a mom and her three kids through our local Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family Program. Our staff and families had a fun time playing Santa Claus and each year I have done this it has really been one of the highlights of the season!

For those unfamiliar with their Adopt a Family program it is part of the Angel Trees program. You have probably seen the Angel Trees at the grocery stores and in the mall where you can pick a name off a tree and buy that item for the child. In our own local community over 500 children are helped through this program. The Adopt a Family program is for families in desperate need of basics including food, household items and clothing and is a bigger undertaking than the Angel Tree. I am hearing a lot about how people are cutting back this holiday season and going back to the "old ways" of things like drawing names amongst adults, making home made gifts, not using credit cards, all of which are excellent ideas as we set our paths on saving instead of spending. I admit I have jumped on board the simpler holiday season!

 

We greatly appreciate all of the opportunities that have been given to us over these past nine years as we started our "little land company" on eBay. Our eBay days our now behind us and we happily focus our efforts on our own website and for that we are truly blessed.

 

We do hope you will take a moment and stop by our website and see just how "dirt cheap" our land prices have gotten since the boom a few years back. It seems like we are able to buy land for less and less pennies on the dollar each month! We recently listed some lots in Rio Rancho, New Mexico at $2500. That's the price we sold them for when I first discovered this booming area around 2002!

 

We also just started selling land in a new area in Colorado in Park County. This is a beautiful rural area on the other side of Pike's National Forest southwest of Denver. The world famous ski town of Breckenridge sits about an hour to the north and the area is filled with world class fishing!
