10 Years of Smiles and Dreams!
Mark, Melanie, Char, Kristy, and Derek (left to right)10 years ago Mark and I started
a dream to invest in land. Never did I imagine the adventures or the success we
would have! What started as a little land selling business on eBay has grown
into a small land company selling from our own website. I recently got a call
from a customer who bought their first piece of land from Smile4u on eBay 10
years ago and are now ready to buy another property!
To celebrate our 10 year
Anniversary here is our very first feedback from our eBay days:
We have definitely seen and
learned a lot in that time! Our business started before the land boom - we saw
things sky rocket and tumble back to where they are today. All the time we
continued to focus on what we do best - exploring the lands we sell and giving
our customers a better land buying experience at an affordable price! The herds
of wild horses, big horned sheep, oryx, badgers, elk, antelope and deer I get
to see... those are my bonuses!

Often people tell me they have
been watching us for years, dreaming about owning their own piece of land, and
now have the means to make it happen! It's a huge accomplishment to make dreams
come true and smiles happen--one that makes my heart smile as well!

Welcoming Melanie to our Staff!
At the end of August we hired a new  employee, Melanie, to
handle our marketing, advertising, and graphic design. Melanie graduated from Seattle Pacific
University in 2006 with a Bachelor of
Arts in Visual Communication and spent the next three and half years working as
a graphic designer for a technology consulting company in Seattle. In 2010, she and her husband Tate
moved up to Bellingham for a new job for Tate and to be closer to family. After a year of additional web design classes, Melanie and Smile4u crossed paths and joined
forces. She's a great addition to the team and is a wonderful person to have
around the office!

Nevada, Oregon,
and Washington.
