             A useful bit of info.

If you have kitchen cabinets and/or handrails, you are no stranger to the black, grimy build-up. Proper care of your woodwork can be a bit of a mystery. don't be misled by an attempt to sell you useless and harmful products. let me make this very easy for you by providing you with a wood care product list and instruction.

List:
1. mineral spirits (available at any hardware store)
2. distilled water (grocery store)
3. wax polish (ie. Pledge)
4. terrycloth

Black grime (skin cells, bacteria, etc.) can be easily removed with the mineral spirits and terrycloth. This is a very mild solvent and will not cause your finish to deteriorate. With a modicum of elbow grease (effort), the sticky blackish build-up can be wiped away. Then, simply wipe down with a clean, dry cloth.

For regular cleaning and maintenance distilled water and and a terrycloth work well without streaking.

Finally, a simple wax polish.

It is best to put any product on the rag and not the wood. This keeps excess from building up in over-spray patterns.

I hope this is useful. If you have any suggestions or questions. feel free to reply to me, kelleypinson@kpinsonstairs.com. These tips will also be available for reference on my website.
