"Personal Note"
==================
There are many reasons behind The Success Manual Project and why I
am doing this. Time will not permit a full accounting. However,
this much I will say: While I believe, with strong Faith and
Conviction, that ultimately this site, and its associated side
projects and sites, will bear tremendous fruit, overall, this
project has been a tremendous sacrifice - personally and
professionally.
Success Manual has been a far deeper commitment than I initially
believed. The amount of time has been insane. In order to have
credibility to that which I ascribe, I have had to literally live
these Truths, Tenets and Principles with the Believe, Faith and
Expectation. I KNOW it is not easy.
You get knocked down, you get back up again. You get knocked down,
you get back up again.
Of course, Success is NOT easy. It is NOT supposed to be easy. If
it was easy, every one would be Successful and Wealthy. The ones
who do Succeed, who do attain Wealth and Prosperity, are those who
REFUSE to quit and are totally committed to attaining their goals.
Much easier said than done. But, I am not just saying. I am
living this, too - which, I feel that I must if that is what I am
going to preach and write.
Napoleon Hill states repeatedly that every sacrifice, every
apparent "failure" brings with it a seed of equivalent - or greater
- Success.
I can only imagine the Great Successes that I have stockpiled!

PRODUCT UPDATE:
"The Wattles Prosperity Bible"
==================
Okay, perhaps you have heard or read my pitch regarding our
upcoming product, The Wattles Prosperity Bible, and its FREE Bonus,
The Law of Attraction Prosperity Bible. Both are five-volume sets
and an incredible offer.
Yet, as you may also be aware, we are months behind schedule on the
launch. You name the problem, we have encountered it. But,
persistence is the name of the game, and we are getting close -
very close.
Since several touted launch dates have come and gone, I will NOT
set a deadline in this Newsletter, other than to say - we are close.
And, that is all I will say for now, my friends. Details to follow
. . . soon.

"Member Questions"
==================
With the Success Manual site gaining in popularity, I have been
receiving some great questions and comments. I recently received
the following comment/question:
"How can I be rich person without being far from God and my Lord
Jesus Christ?"
I greatly struggled with similar questions a few years back and
perhaps still do at a subconscious level.
I am not a theologian, but will attempt to articulate a short
answer as how I came to reconcile seemingly different perspectives.
As indicated in a recent post, I am in the process of drafting
"the long answer" for a series of articles on The Law of
Attraction, Religion and Science.
I was born and raised a Roman Catholic and still practice, although
not as faithfully as I would like. Somewhere along the line, I
developed the conditioned belief that being wealthy was not good
and that having too much money would lead to - well, you probably
know. Eternal Damnation!
The unfortunate consequence of an ingrained subconscious belief
such as this is the undeniable fact that you will NEVER attain
wealth. But, if that means salvation, then who wants wealth?
And, thus, my internal, subconscious struggle. (Can you picture
the angel on one shoulder whispering into my ear and the little
devil on the other shoulder, whispering into the other ear? ;-) )
In my case, when I did Succeed - and Succeed greatly - I would
enevitably crash and lose everything! Subconscious sabotage! It
took ten years for me to finally understand what I was doing!
When I became brutally honest with myself, the notion of becoming
wealthy left an uneasy feeling deep inside, even though I kept
telling myself that is what I wanted. And, I DID want it. But, if
subconscious core principles and values are not in alignment, it
isn't going to happen. Why? Because the subconscious wins
EVERYTIME, hands-down.
So, I had to look deep, very deep. Was money - or having money -
really an evil thing?
There is an oft-quoted saying derived from the Bible: "Money is the
root of all evil." But, there is a problem. That is NOT what the
Bible states. (I don't have the exact reference handy, but will
find it). What the Bible DOES say is "The LOVE of money is the
root of all evil."
There is a big, big difference between the meaning and import of
both statements.
You can be very, very close to God - and Jesus - and be quite
wealthy (in fact, in two of the books that comprise The Wattles
Prosperity Bible, "Jesus: The Man and His Work" and "What Christ
Says," we learn that while Jesus may have been without material
things, He associated and was friends with many wealthy
individuals!) under the following (IMHO):
1. Earn your money honestly. Render right service in exchange for
right payment. Don't steal or take advanage.
2. Having money - and lots of it - is okay; but, what are you doing
with it? Wealth brings greater responsibilities - towards family
and fellow man. Look back at the incredible generosity of Bill
Gates and Warren Buffet from a few years back. Okay, they didn't
give away all of their Wealth - but MOST of it - by quite a bit -
to charitable trusts and orgainzations.
3. The more that you have been blessed, the more gratitude should
be given. And, the more that should be given back!
4. Don't forget where Wealth originates!
5. Don't forget - it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all
evil. If you love money more than your fellow human, well there is
a problem.
Yes, there is more, but time and space limits further response.
Stay tuned for more . . .
