Hey,
 
Have you ever wondered what EXACTLY is "functional training"
and "functional exercise?"
 
I'm sure most of you have heard those terms thrown around by a
lot of trainers over the last few years. 
 
A month ago I was in a discussion with a few other trainers and
one exclaimed "I hate functional.'  It doesn't mean what half the
people think it means!"
 
Before you make a decision on "Functional Exercise" read this
post!

I'm very excited to hear your comments, as there is a lot of research
put into getting multiple perspectives on Functional Training.

This is Part I in a series in which I hope to be explaining how I
develop programs, exercise selection, etc.  However to get that
far, I need at least 25 comments on Functional Training!

PS.  I hate to lose my other post in the importance of the Functional
Training discussion and this is one of the most impressive feats of strength
I have ever seen - Andrew Durniat DOMINATING a 96 lb kettle bell.
