Exercise dropped me to my knees!
Sent Wednesday, August 31, 2011
Hey,
Too many people shorten the core during
exercise and do not resist tension when
lengthening the abdominal muscles.
This effects strength, posture, and back
pain.
Here is a quick solution....and DIFFICULT
core complex.
====================
5/5/5 Advanced Core Workout
====================
The video is of the 3rd set and I was fighting
hard to stay up, but I got dropped near the end!
I also included an easier variation to try
out for starters: […]

#1 Method to stay WEAK forever
Sent Monday, August 29, 2011
Hey,
Have you had a friend that goes to the gym
regularly, works out every week, and is still
built like a middle schooler?
What gives?!?!
They workout, they go to the gym that sounds
like the equation to get strong, right?
Sadly, it's not that easy.
They are probably making this mistake...and
make sure you avoid it!

Stutter chin ups vs Regular chin ups
Sent Wednesday, August 24, 2011
Hey,
A proper exercise program has to include
relative body strength.
I don't care how much someone can bench
or squat if they can't do a good chin up.
Here's one of my favorite variations to make
the regular chin up more challenging:
======================
How To Do Stutter Chin Ups
======================
I included our basic chin up tutorial video
in that article as well. Tons of good info
in these two quick videos!

Sent Thursday, August 18, 2011
Hey,
Conditioning complexes do NOT need to be long and
complicated process.
A lot of people just use one exercise for conditioning:
running (I'm a big fan of sprints myself).
That being said, here is a cool and effective way to
conditioning right in the gym.

Fast 10 Minute Countdown Conditioning

Not only is this a workout but it's a formula you
can apply to tons of different exercise combos!

22 min video and pdf (freebie!)
Sent Monday, August 15, 2011
Hey,
Have you put yourself through a workout
or had a practice and just been on the verge
of passing out?
It sucks.
My senior year in high school I ate like crap,
went through double sessions for football and
would fall asleep at 7 pm. I was even taken
to the doctor to see if I had mono because
of how my body felt.
Turns out I just did things wrong, waayyy
wrong.
I aimed this video to help any athlete through
tough practices (Fall sports practice starts today
in NY!) […]

YAWN....Internet haters.
Sent Friday, August 12, 2011
Hey,
This week has been AWESOME! It has
literally been the busiest of my life with Steve F.
coming from the UK to train with us, coupled
with the Synergy Seminar this weekend.
In addition, we have been testing our athletes to
finish out the summer. The testing reminded me
of some haters on youtube that said;
All you do is talk during your videos, I bet you
don't train anyone!
Ironically I was too busy training people to really
care or respond at the time. BUT for […]

Baseball Workouts vs Glass..
Sent Sunday, August 7, 2011
Hey,
I've seen a lot of baseball player workouts that
treat them like glass.
Actually even more fragile than that, with all these
band contraptions and bending the poor athletes
in awkward positions under no real resistance.
Most of the arm exercises I see are complete
rubbish (you can see the visiting trainer from the UK
is rubbing off on my language). Typically they stress
an already fatigued arm in an unnatural position and
throw on a band resisting them at nowhere near […]

I CHALLENGE you not to get goosebumps...
Sent Wednesday, August 3, 2011
Hey,
Today I needed to a little extra push to get
through Wednesday aka Hump Day.
Just a little something to push me over that
hump and down the other side. I turned to one
of my favorite videos of all time.
========================
I am a Champion.
========================
By the end I had goosebumps...again...but my memory
was jogged to a 2009 email exchange I had with the
coach in the video.
I asked him permission to use and share his speech, and
he was a true […]

Hey,
My inbox has been packed with questions
lately, and this one seems to get asked at
least once a week.
Hopefully this new article will help clear
things up on exactly how I include strongman
lifts with my athletes

Check out the article, to include strongman
training or leave it out is not as clear as many
people think....
