NATURAL SUPPORT FOR BONE HEALTH
Calcifood Powder-- ball milled stone flour from raw uncooked veal rib cage and spinal column, a bone building food and a source of rare amino acids, 50% protein and 50% minerals.
The protein in the bone in Calcifood is high in the amino acids that are commonly lost in cooking:
-- Tryptophan: commonly lost when cooking in contact with sugar, providing tryptophan stops dental caries in children
-- Methionine: a detoxifying factor known to be important in eclampsia, shock, liver cirrhosis, liver enlargement and liver necrosis
-- Lysine: helps with fatigue and irritability
-- Lysine and Tryptophan combined: enhances corneal vascularization
CALCIFOOD AND BONE
Excerpt from Lectures of Dr. Royal Lee, Vol. II. Used with Permission of Selene River Press, Inc.
"Well, the Calcifood is a veal bone dehydrated powder in the raw state, so that is one way to get the elements, not only for the calcium, that isn't so important as is the proteins that otherwise are damaged by cooking. Because, I believe that the damage to the teeth and bone is more from a protein deficiency than the mineral deficiency. Because there's special amino acids required to build the protein components of teeth and bones.
Teeth and bone are one-third protein, one-third minerals... In fact, teeth are more than that. Bone is a third mineral, a third protein, and a third water. The protein is a critical thing because just as soon as you feed test animals on cooked foods then you start to have arthritis and tooth decay. I don't care how much mineral you give them.
The best way to get those things in the raw state are the dehydrated veal bone flour. If the patient gets veal bone powder, and we put it up in powder form or put it up in tablet form, and for the adult for pyorrhea I think the tablet (Biost) is the quickest acting. Now the tablet contains the concentrated enzymes and amino acids of the bone and none of the minerals. That's known as Calcifood wafers (Biost). It really works.
The dentists have great success with this in tightening up loose teeth. Many times a dentist, you know, have one tooth just to hang a bridge on and when that's gone they've all got to come out. So the patient is quite concerned about holding that last tooth and with the veal bone product they can do it."
