Lesson 6: Boost Your Immunity With Your Attitude

Published: Sat, 01/30/21

Hi again:

In this lesson, we want to look at how your mental health is linked to your physical health, and vice versa.

If you want to boost your immunity, then you can do your body a favor by adopting a positive mindset. By thinking positive thoughts, you can help battle stress and inflammation, which will increase your body's resilience against infections and illness. Yes, studies have shown that positivity makes you less susceptible to the common cold.

Additionally, stress makes you a higher risk of contracting coronavirus. So, managing your attitude is vital to your health and happiness. The story you tell yourself is crucial in maintaining a positive mindset.

If you constantly tell stories where you paint yourself as the victim, then you are putting yourself in a negative mindset. You need to actively choose positivity every morning and you might have to remind yourself regularly of that throughout the day as well.

What type of attitude do you have? Is your mindset a positive one or a negative one? If you're not quite sure, maybe ask the people closest to you.

I'm sure they'll be able to shed some light on the subject. If you believe you have a negative mindset, then this is the perfect opportunity to practice positive affirmations, meditation, and make the changes necessary to boost immunity.
