   Answer below.

I got my copy of Joel Johnson's "Attacking 101: Volume #002" in the mail this week.

(Today's tactic is from that book, and was sent to me by Joel Johnson - thanks Joel!)

You might recall my newsletter entitled "Book Game" from the U.S. Open, this past August, (which you can read here: http://archive.aweber.com/tacticstime/DtCJj/h/Tactics_Time_Chess_Newsletter_.htm), where I wrote:

"My chess coach Joel Johnson is here.  So it has been nice getting to chat with him in person.  Joel is always on the lookout for "book games".  These are games that are in consideration to go into one of his books (Formation Attacks series, Attacking 101 series, etc).

Joel is quite picky about what constitutes a "book game".  Basically it has to be a short game, with some kind of very efficient attack.  When I played this game in round 4, when it was over I thought "book game!"  Playing a Joel "book game" is a real honor :-)

So after I played this game, I emailed it to Joel with the subject "book game", and no other comments.  Joel wrote back, "I could not agree with you more - awesome!!!! game - the game will be in Attacking 101: Volume #002."

   So that was cool!"

So when I got the book, I saw that my "book game" is #28 in the  book, on page 50.

   sweet!

Joel's annotations are funny - especially if you know him, and can hear him saying them in his booming voice.

After my move "9...g5", Joel's comment was "White must be thinking.... - I cannot find this line anywhere in my London System opening book!"

That cracked me up, as did a lot of his other comments.

The book is easy to read, and like "Tactics Time", contains lots of games with class players and players "down in the trenches" and "in the real world", which I like, and I feel makes it very practical study material.

Here is a selfie of me with the book :)
