Tactics Time Newsletter 3rd Birthday!

Hey there,

This position comes from a game played by Bobby Fischer in 1957, when he was 14 years old.

White to Play

Answer Below

This past Thursday was the 3rd Anniversary of the Tactics Time Chess email Newsletter!

I sent my first email newsletter on May 22, 2011 to only 3 subscribers!

Today, I have 2315 subscribers from over 100 countries around the world!

In those 3 years I have written hundreds of newsletters, and it has been a lot of fun for me!

I have got a lot of great feedback about the newsletters and people telling me how it has helped their chess game.

I really appreciate everyone who has

Thank you!

Speaking of tactics books, Tactics Time 2 is now available for pre-order in paperback on amazon.com!  Click here to see it.

The book is due out this fall from the good people at New in Chess, who have been great to work with.

The advantage of pre-ordering the book is that you are guaranteed the lowest price between now, and when it comes out.  So if the price drops, you will get that lowest price.

I know with Tactics Time 1, the price would jump around, because amazon will price match their competitors, so you might want to consider that.

Thanks again to all my Tactics Time readers for their support :-)
