Good Morning,

This weekend I flew to Arizona to say goodbye.

I went to visit my friend Angela. She is 34 years old and entered hospice care on Monday a week ago. The battle between cancer and her body was reaching its inevitable conclusion.

It became obvious on Saturday that the end was very, very close so her house was filled with loved ones coming by to play with her kids, give her husband Chris hugs, and to say their goodbyes.

I witnessed the most amazing thing. Most of Ang's friends are her age and almost none of them had ever had someone their age die in this fashion. They showed up to be helpful, to be loving, and to be caring, but none of them really knew what to do.

All day I watched people nervously walk in to sit at Ang's bedside and I watched them walk out at peace. In her last moments Ang continued to do what she always did; she comforted and provided peace.

I was so lucky to sit with her a few times over the course of the day and just be present to someone I was so blessed have in my life. Her sense of peace was humbling.

That evening at Phoenix airport as I waited for my red-eye flight back to the east coast I simply noted "We must do better for those we love sooner."

I had a couple of resources I had planned to share on the site this week, but they can wait.

Instead, I have my favorite relationship tool ever. I shared it as a bonus podcast back in April of last year. For those of you who don't like audios, I have also included a written transcript.

The tool is about how we can use tapping to transform ourselves in a way that has a rippling effect through our relationships.

We all have relationships that could be better and healthier. Do yourself a favor and spend time on this work.
