"It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see."
~ Henry David Thoreau
During a recent visit from my seven-year-old
twin grandchildren, we made bread.
After the mixing and kneading stage, a fine layer of flour covered the kitchen floor.
While waiting for the dough to rise, I saw the need to clean. They saw an opportunity to play.
Fortunately they saw "skating" with a damp paper towel under each foot as play, which it was. But it got the
floor cleaned too. Somewhat.
Can you recall a time when you and another person saw the same thing very differently? How were you affected?
Today, let's be mindful that everything we look at can be seen in many ways. May we see lots of beauty.
Always,
Charlene
