"Each person sees the world from his or her unique perspective. Still, I can be open to understand another's point of view. As St. Francis proffered, "Grant that may not so much seek...to be understood as to understand."
~ Daily Word
There are two abilities we all have but need to develop and practice, I think.
The first is realizing and remembering throughout the day that every person perceives reality in a unique way.
The second is the ability to listen
with interest and the intention to grasp the perspectives and feelings of others. We don't have to agree. We just have to get it and say "I hear you."
Let's make this a part our talentry.
For the good of all,
Charlene
