"If you don’t like something change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it." ~ Mary
Engelbreit
When Lauren Lane Powell was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she asked God, "What do I do with this?"
She heard, "Do it differently. Change the way cancer looks and feels by doing it differently."
She started thinking "I get to heal from ovarian cAnswer!" instead of "I've got
cancer."
You can read about her healing experiences in her book, "Holy Shift: Everything's a Gift."
That title is worth remembering and using as a motto. When a challenge presents itself, let's think of it as a gift, become willing to "see differently," and be ready to experience a "holy shift."
With hope, faith, and imagination,
Charlene
