“If your life is cloudy and you are far, far off course, you may have to go on faith for a while, but eventually you’ll learn that every time you trust your internal navigation system, you end up closer to your right life."
~ Martha Beck
Today, let's fine-tune our reception to the voice of wisdom within us.
Let's listen for the soft whispers and feel for the gentle nudges. Let's notice when our hearts open and close and when our stomachs tighten and relax.
Wisdom is built into our bodies and guides us wondrously.
If you presently feel off course, don't dismay or judge yourself.
We often
learn the most valuable lessons from taking missteps, having accidents, and getting lost.
I remember such a time when I started a work position that was not in alignment with my heart and for which I was not well-suited. Upon arriving the first day, when I placed my hand on the doorknob, a sensation in my belly seemed to say, "No. Do not enter. This is not right for you." But I had already said, "Yes." I had made a commitment. So, even though I
felt the inner voice was right, I opened the door and proceeded, thinking I would do my best and somehow align it.
Although I ignored that caution, got off course, and suffered some consequences, I learned to better appreciate, trust, and heed my internal navigation system. That experience also strengthened my resolve to someday publish The Twelve Gifts of Birth.
Like all good explorers and scientists, we can make significant discoveries when we lose our way and learn much from what doesn't work.
Wherever you are on your life journey today, listen and trust. Without a doubt, you are being guided.
With love, by love,
Charlene
