"Stop being a critic and be a light; don't be a judge, be a model."
~ Sean Covey
Yesterday's quote was from Stephen Covey. Today's quote is from his son, Sean, who, like his father, offers inspiration, advice, and
life truths through The Seven Habits which are:
Be Proactive
Begin with the End in Mind
Put First Things First
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand,
Then to Be Understood
Synergize
Sharpen Your Saw
Let's be mindful of our saws today, our tools of all kind, but especially our relationship tools.
Too often too many of us let them get dull. We then become dull. Our
relationships do too.
Sean Covey applies The Seven Habits to children and helping them to be happy and healthy.
Whether we have children in our lives or not, with or without spouses, siblings, parents, let's start this day sharpening our communication and listening saws.
Seek First to Understand,
Then to Be Understood is the best way to start.
For one and all, let's be lights not critics, models not judges.
Let's show and tell our loved ones what we admire and appreciate in them.
With love, reverence and wisdom,
Charlene
PS - Im pleased to share that, before he died, Dr. Stephen R. Covey described The Twelve Gifts in Marriage this
way:
"A beautiful book to help celebrate the most special relationship of all, which Cicero called 'the first bond of society.'"
