TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE
"I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world...

"The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces,
Of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying,
"I love you".

"I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more,
Than I'll ever know.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world."

~ Bob Thiele and George Weiss.

Despite the conflicts and challenges we presently see,
It IS a wonderful world.

Today, let's aim to see wonders, blessings, and beauty in the world and in our lives. Sacredness too.

Let's admire the vast sky and watch for rainbows. Let's appreciate the trees that give out what we need to breathe in. Let's marvel at birds in flight. And may the act of looking upward help us to stay uplifted in spirit.

Let's be friends with ready smiles, friends who shake hands and convey loving respect to all colors of the human rainbow.

Let's hold hope for the children, model goodness for them, and contribute our talents in ways that help make this world even more wonderful.

With faith,
Charlene
