"I think it's important to experience kindness so that you can experience it more in the future. I believe that patterns of emotional behavior are set down before adolescence. And I think that if you have not observed kindness, you will not recognize it. You have to experience kindness in order to be kind." - E.L. Konigsburg
For so many reasons it's important for us to experience kindness, to be kind to ourselves and others, and to demonstrate and model kindness for others to see, especially children.
Like this beautifully-patterned tree trunk, which I saw and admired yesterday, let's make kindness a pattern of who we are and how we act and react in our daily lives.
Kindness heals, helps, and uplifts all who give it, receive it, and see it.
Truly,
Charlene
