"Accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields." ~ Kahlil Gibran
Let's make this a day of acceptance for outside weather and for the conditions present in our hearts.
If that seems challenging, reach for what you most need. Perhaps it's an umbrella and faith. Maybe it's boots and strength. Or a coat and hope.
Why not be prepared for inner and outer changing temperatures with layers of love and compassion while being open to all of life's gifts?
I'm intending to do that for the next two weeks as I write from Florida's Sanibel Island. I'm ready for bright morning sun, gathering clouds, afternoon showers, wind, surprises, and more.
All the while, I'll be looking for how the gifts are demonstrated in nature, by my family, by others, and by me.
With a special gratitude for beauty,
Charlene
P.S. I apologize for typing errors during this time. I see that there was at least one yesterday. A lot is going on around me. I'm, yet again, celebrating my March 30th birthday. Now it's with a family beach vacation. It looks like I'll be celebrating 70 all year. And why not? Whatever age you are and whatever
day you were born, I encourage you to celebrate your birth and your beauty often. I'm glad that you are here, on Earth, at this time too! Be here, on Sanibel Island, in your imagination as I post from here. Or check it out and come in person sometime!
THE SECOND GIFT IS BEAUTY. May your deeds reflect its depth. - from The Twelve Gifts of Birth
