"If you have someone in your life that you are grateful for - someone to whom you want to write another heartfelt, slanted, misspelled
thank you note - do it. Tell them they made you feel loved and supported. That they made you feel like you belonged somewhere and that you were not a freak. Tell them all of that. Tell them today."
~ Lisa Jakub
Who first comes to mind when you think of reaching out - maybe reaching way back - to say thank you?
Perhaps it is: thank you for caring, thank you for your help, thank you for your kindness, thank you for accepting me as I am, thank you for thank extraordinary thing you did, or thank you for that seemingly little thing you did that meant so
much.
As we approach Valentine's Day, let's extend our expressions of love and affection beyond our usual patterns. Let's begin early too. Today. Let's nourish someone's heart and soul - as well as our own - by saying thank you to someone. Perhaps that person who first came to mind.
With loving,
Charlene
