"Smile at strangers and you just might change a life." ~ Steve Maraboli
Consider a smile. Your smile. My smile. It costs nothing for us to give it away. It's not like we have only one. We have one that's uniquely ours, but we have a countless supply behind it. One after another they can keep on coming and going and touching hearts, touching lives.
When we smile we not only benefit others, benefits return to us. What if one of the lives we change by smiling is our own?
What if many smiles exchanged among many of us had the power to soften hostilities, lessen divisiveness, and rebuild unity among us?
“Peace begins with a smile,” said Mother Teresa.
It's unlikely that a massive smile campaign would ever be organized, but that's no reason to hold ourselves back.
Let's smile with the intention to touch the hearts of people and the heart of the world.
With love,
Charlene
