"I don't know what my path is yet. I'm just walking on it."
~ Olivia Newton-John
From a spiritual perspective we're all on the path.
Sure, sometimes we feel as if we're not on a path; we've lost our way. Or we might feel as if
we've entered a confusing maze, especially when we encounter twists and turns and feel as if we're going backward or away from our destination.
But consider that you're path may be like a labyrinth. The turns and twists, the sensations of going backward, the feeling of repeating where you've already been - they are illusions on the labyrinth.
On the labyrinth, we keep walking. We
walk through the questions, doubts, and uncertainties. We walk through the delights and discoveries. We walk through beauty. We walk with hope and compassion. We walk. We walk. We walk and reach the center.
Wishing you peace, hope, and confidence.
Today and every day,
Charlene
P.S. - If
you haven't yet done so, consider finding a labyrinth to walk as a form of meditation and possibly a way to learn something new about your life path. Labyrinths can be found in many places now. I've seen them on hospital and church grounds, at resorts, in public gardens, on private property, and at retreat and yoga centers like the one above in Sebastian, Florida, where I went on a retreat last year. It is estimated that there are over 2,600 public labyrinths in the U.S.
Worldwide? I wonder.
HOPE: Through each passage and season may you trust the goodness of life.
