TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"People are just as wonderful as sunsets. I don't find myself saying,  'Soften the orange a bit on the right corner.' I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds."

                                          ~ Carl R. Rogers

Today, let's aim to accept people just as they are, without trying to control them.

Let's also consider the more subtle part of this quote and remember that just as sunsets are not fixed or static, we're not either.

Like the nuances of light and color in the sky at sunset, we are in a flow of change.

And let's trust that even if it sometimes appears that we are falling backwards, we are in fact advancing toward greater dawnings of light and love within us and in the world.

Watching with awe the beauty of it all,

Charlene
