"Peace is joy at rest, and joy is peace on its feet."
~ Anne Lamott
This simple-yet-insightful thought
reminds me of something that
the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, once said:
If you seek after any one of the higher qualities,
all of them will come to you
because they all commune with one another.
It's similar to the proverb, Birds of a feather flock
together, which traces its origin to the 1500s.
So, if you want hope. If you want joy. If you want courage. Or beauty. Or compassion. Or...
Tap into any one of your gifts and you'll be in the midst of them all.
Wishing you easy entry into that place today,
Charlene
PS - It seems to me that gratitude is the master key to this place. Practice it often today. Notice how it automatically opens to joy. Once there, your in.
