"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls." ~ Joseph
Campbell
Have you ever experienced doors opening, lights turning green, and the perfect person showing up with the exact thing you need? At the time, were you following a dream that made your heart sing? That's one understanding of bliss.
Bliss can also be a daily experience. Most of us think of bliss as a heightened state of peace and joy that
we reach only now and then. What if bliss is a natural state within us, a part of our being?
"I live life fully when I claim the gift of bliss" was the affirmation in Unity's Daily Word yesterday.
How might we do this today?
"Find ecstasy in life," as Emily Dickinson said. "The mere sense of living is joy enough."
How?
Live in the now with wonder and gratitude. And consider these Maharishi Mahesh Yogi quotes. Which one most stirs you and guides you?
"It's as if we live in a house which has a vast treasury in one of its rooms. Only we've forgotten about it.
So, instead of living a life of royalty, we go about in poverty."
"Just think of any negativity that comes at you as a raindrop falling into the ocean of your bliss."
"Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower and draws all good things towards you."
Truly,
Charlene
