May we refrain from comparing ourselves with others as well as comparing others with others.
No more "If only he was more like..." and "I wish she would change and become more like...."
May we refrain from this kind of thinking and speaking for today, at least.
Here are two more quotes to help strengthen our intention to accept and love ourselves and others:
"Everyone messes up. Me, you, the neighbors, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, King
David, the Buddha, everybody." (Rick Hanson)
"We are not put on this earth to see through one another. We are put on this earth to see one another through." (Gloria
Vanderbilt)
Let's go further than refrain from judging and instead find ways to support one another on life's journey.
With reverence and joy,
Charlene
