There are many answers to the question "Why am I here?" This is one of them. I could offer more but there's no need, really.
While
each answer could give us something to think about, we have to answer this question for ourselves, then ask ourselves if we are living our answer, and then respond with love and compassion.
Few among us live up to our highest ideals.
But it is good to often remind ourselves of those ideals so that we can aim again.
Today, let's think of just one thing that is important to us. Perhaps it is the most important but it doesn't have to
be.
May that be our touchstone for how we live this day.
