“Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes
on inside of us is like the roots of a tree."
~ Joyce Meyer
Today, along with appreciating the beauty of trees, let's remember that so much is
happening inside each and every human being.
For one thing, there is beauty. There is love, There is strength. There is courage.
Perhaps there is also great pain. Perhaps confusion. Perhaps grief. Perhaps fear.
But no matter the outer appearances, there is growth happening. There is healing. In every life, there is amazing Life. Every life is rooted in The
Ground of All Being.
With wonder, awe, and reverence,
Charlene
