"If you'd like a prescription for a Grace-filled life, resolve here and now to refrain from judging anyone or anything, most of all yourself, from this
day forward."
~ Ron and Mary Hulnick
This refraining from judging doesn't mean that we don't make evaluations to determine wise choices for ourselves or that we bury our heads and ignore harmful actions.
It does mean we
avoid labeling, belittling, demeaning, and condemning ourselves and others.
What if we lift ourselves above the social and political chatter? What if we rise above focusing on the surface differences among us and view things from a higher perspective? We may not be able to see it or feel it yet, but imagine how we would act, how we will act, when we realize we are all
connected.
If we catch ourselves judging today, let's gently let it go and start fresh for a Grace-filled life.
With love and compassion,
Charlene
