Hi Everyone. I'm back. Not yet back home but back at writing a touchstone for today. I think I'll ask Frank to be a guest more often. I like how he gets right to the point and keeps things short. You? I'll try to follow his example as I share a hopeful story about my friend, Kathy.
For almost five years Kathy was looking for a new house and trying to sell hers. Nothing happened on either side of the equation. But she never lost
faith. Again and again she said she trusted that she would find, buy, and sell in perfect timing.
A few months ago eight of us gathered virtually by phone for 30 minutes once a week for eight weeks. We did this per the invitation of another friend, Jan, who had read The Power of Eight by Lynne McTaggart and wanted to give this form of meditation, visualization, prayer, intention-setting and affirmation a try, especially because a friend of hers was diagnosed with cancer. To make this
potentially long story short, I'll get right to Kathy's intention. She made the wish/dream/intention she had had for five years even more specific on one of our calls. The eight of us imaged it happening just as Kathy wished. Within a few days, Kathy got several offers on her house. The very first one was over her asking price. Kathy and the buyers reached an agreement within two days. A few challenges to the deal came up but Kathy held onto her faith, hope, love, joy, and visualizations. She is
now in her lovely new home and her previous home shelters a young couple in love with their new house.
The thoughts and images we hold are powerful. Let's imagine beautiful, loving, peaceful, healthy, joyful images for ourselves and others in all areas of life.
