"Create in me a clean heart, oh God..." ~ Psalm 51:10
Happy Easter! Happy Passover!
May these holy days renew us and make a difference in our lives.
Peace, love, and joy to all,
Charlene
A REFLECTION
Long ago I was given an album that featured a song inspired by Psalm 51.10. I no longer have that album, nor a turn table to play vinyl records, but the song sometimes plays in my mind. Create in me a clean heart, oh God...Let me be like You in all my ways, it goes.
Yesterday, on You Tube, I came across that John Michael Talbot and Terry Talbot album and listened. Paint my life, went the refrain from another song. Paint my life with your charity. Paint my life with your mercy.
"Paint my life" resembled the marking of doors so that illness would "pass over" the homes so marked.
The songs seemed to celebrate Easter, Passover, and the gifts of life.
In this season of rebirth and renewal, protection and deliverance, hope and promise, let's open our hearts.
To peace, love, and joy,
Charlene
