TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"When we long for life without difficulties, remind us that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under pressure."

                                  ~ Peter Marshall

Today, let's appreciate the value of  withstanding storms and of being under great pressure.

Consider the beauty, the wisdom, and the many other valuables that using strength calls forth from us.

Consider what country singer Loretta Lynn said in her book, Still Woman Enough :

"When you look back over your life
and see how much you've had to face...
it's interesting to try and pinpoint the first time...
you had to reach inside yourself
and pull out strength
you didn't know you had."

Pause and look back.
Look at now.
See your amazing strength?

You are amazing!

Truly,
Charlene
