“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito." ~ Dalai Lama
Funny, like yesterday's quote, which was also about a mosquito. But isn't this true? A fly "bugging" us at a picnic makes the point too.
No-see-ums are even smaller. In fact, you can't "see-um." But I know from experience how these minute gnat-like insects that thrive in coastal areas can "make a difference" when a bite from one starts itching like crazy.
It's more a matter of numbers than of size that leads us to think we can't make a difference. But being one of 7 billion people on the planet doesn't mean we can't make a difference.
We can, every one of us, in ways large and small.
One small, simple and easy way is to be kind to every person we encounter.
Will you join me in this today? And tomorrow? And thereafter?
With love and gratitude for you,
Charlene
P.S. Let today's quote support your big dreams too. What you do with your time and talent is critically important.
