Regardless of what the world considers attractive, despite the effects of aging, beauty glows on the outside when there is peace, love - any aspect of beauty - radiating on the inside.
Peace. Love. Compassion. Joy. Reverence. Grace. Are these not all forms of
beauty?
Consider how there are many words that mean strength in some way: perseverance, fortitude, determination, mightiness, robustness, grit, pluck...
These words and others help us to understand inner strength. But we don't yet have a string of words that help us understand inner beauty. Until such words come into use, if they ever do, may we cultivate all our gifts and begin to see that each is a form of beauty so that we can better see beauty shimmering in ourselves and others. On our faces too.
