TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"True navigation begins in the human heart. It's the most important map of all."

            ~ Elizabeth Kapu'uwailani Lindsey

When a fellow "Pink Lady" told me about Sue the Cancer Navigator, I felt intrigued with both the job title and the work of helping people find their way through the complexities of cancer and onward to healing.

After meeting with Sue yesterday, I got to thinking about navigation in broader terms.

Aren't we frequently in need of navigational help through some life challenge? How do we find our own best way? How do we stay on course? What do we do when we might be lost?

People like Sue can help us read maps. You and I can share compass readings.

And let us remember...

Just as the sun and the stars have guided explorers on outer world journeys for eons,
the heart continues to be the most important tool for finding our way through all our personal trails and all of humanity's trials.

May our hearts keep us on course today.

Via love, courage, compassion, and wisdom,
Charlene
