"May your heart open."
(from The Twelve Gifts for Healing)
“The greatest potential we have for opening our hearts lies in the opening of our minds.”
~ Vironika Tugaleva
I wonder if this is true. What do you think? Certainly what we think greatly affects how we feel, how our heart beats, how we breathe, what hormones we produce and more.
Let's put this to the test today. Whenever you notice that your heart feels closed, tune in
to what you had been thinking. Deliberately re-focus your thoughts onto something broader or entirely different, something that is "open-minded." Then observe your heart. Has it opened?
Here are a few other ways we can open our hearts:
Laugh.
Be silly.
Listen to music that stirs love in
you.
Make a gratitude list.
Look at photos of children or animals that you love.
Watch a film that brings you to tears.
Let go of fear, anger, resentments, and judgments.
Forgive.

heart-opening activities? Please share them here.
May this quote be a touchstone for us today too:
“There is no excuse good enough to ever be out of alignment with love. You’re going to get hurt, and you will feel pain. Yet your purpose is to keep loving, anyway. Keep moving forward with an open heart. Love is a Divine gift given to humanity.
Wasting it is no longer an option. Love is what brings light to a dark place. Love is what transforms a dying world into a thriving planet.” (Alaric Hutchinson)
Let's love, hope and be joyful.
Faithfully,
Charlene
