"Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul." ~ Samuel Ullman
According to The Thirteenth Gift
story, the 13th gift is wonder and the 14th is peace. Enthusiasm may very well be the 15th. It surely is there, inside us. We all have the capacity for it. It may seem missing, however, if we've worked too much, slept too little, ignored self-care, abandoned our dreams, betrayed our souls, or bought in to the growing messages of fear and hate.
Let's return to loving, laughing, envisioning good, and saging with enthusiasm.
What's saging? It
could be clearing negative energy from your house with sage. But here it means aging with wisdom, becoming a sage, a wise person. Yes, you. Wise. Hopeful.
Beautiful, too,
Charlene
