TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"On Memorial Day, I don't want to only remember the combatants. There were also those who came out of the trenches as writers and poets, who started preaching peace, men and women who have made this world a kinder place to live."

                                   ~ Eric Burdon

May we today remember, with respect and gratitude, all who have served, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, as well as all who now serve.

And may we today stretch beyond what is traditional and honor all who have served, all who serve, in any way for the greater good.

Also, may we today consider how we can be of service, giving the best of what is in us, each in our our own way, for the good of all.

Toward peace, more kindness, and greater loving,
Charlene
