TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"Being a survivor doesn't mean being strong - it's telling people when you need a meal or a ride, company, whatever. It's paying attention to heart wisdom, feelings, not living a role, but having a unique, authentic life, having something to contribute, finding time to love and laugh. All these things are qualities of survivors."

                              ~Bernie Siegel

Dr. Siegel wrote this about cancer survivors. But this can be said about survivors of every kind of challenge. They are the qualities of life thrivers.

Yes, let's call upon strength every time we need it. Courage too.

But let's especially pay attention to heart wisdom, feelings, and living authentically. Being real. Being kind. Laughing. Loving.

Today, may we be beautifully human, listening to heart wisdom.

For thriving,
Charlene

PS - May we contribute something toward making the world a better place today too.
