. The Cruise staff hosts and participates in shipboard recreational, entertainment and social programs geared towards adults and families.
In addition to other requirements, potential candidates should have minimum two years master of ceremonies or professional entertainment (theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc.) experience with
resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Maintains continual interaction with the guests. Hosts and participates in adult and family recreational programs and activities.
Socializes with guests in public areas at all times in accordance with Royal Caribbean International's Gold Anchor Standards. Visits guest lounges at specified times to converse
with as many guests as possible in the time allotted.
Attends Captain's Cocktail Party and Welcome Back Party to provide introductions, collect invitations, socialize and coordinate the flow of the reception line.
Participates in shows and events presented by the Cruise Director's Division by taking part in skits, and/ or simple dance routines. Instructs, organizes or facilitates various activities and/or tournaments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Two years master of ceremonies or professional entertainment (theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc.) experience with resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries required.
Ability to capture and manage the attention of a large group of people with microphone effective and courteous microphone techniques. Experience on a microphone required.
Ability to provide basic instruction to a large group of people.
Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software basic packages.
Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests.
All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa (and
other relevant visas) when applicable
Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.

and creative individuals to join our team as Part-Time Beer Adventurers / Tour Guides. As a Beer Adventurer / Tour Guide, your mission is to deliver the ultimate Sierra Nevada experience to all guests of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Sierra Nevada Beer Adventurers / Tour Guides act as ambassadors for both SNBCo. and the craft beer industry by providing visitors with tours of our entire facility, as well as educational beer tastings in our tasting room or garden. Tour
content will cover a broad range of information including our SNBCo. history and culture, history of brewing and brewing process, the craft beer industry, beer styles and our sustainability practices. As a Beer Adventurer / Tour Guide you will be constantly asked to learn and retain detailed, precise, often scientific, information which you must then present in an interesting, fun and engaging manner to groups of all sizes and levels of beer knowledge. A passion for all
things craft beer, as well as the ability to taste, describe and evaluate qualities and characteristics of beer will be valuable assets in this position. Beer Adventurers / Tour Guides will be trained to evaluate the flavor profiles of beer and must participate in our Sensory Panel. Sierra Nevada Beer Adventurers / Tour Guides are required to become an MBAA Associate Beer Steward within their first 90 days. They will also be certified in the TIPS alcohol awareness
program. Success in this position will require excellent communication and reasoning skills, as well as the ability to walk and speak for long periods of time. As a Motor Safari Adventure Guide, you will provide extraordinary guest experiences through the safe and conscientious operation of the Motor Safari trams and Snowball Express buses transporting guests on designated routes throughout the park. Position Requirements and Specifications
As Brookfield Zoo is open 365 days a year, this position highly prefers flexible availability to work any 5 days
out of any 7 days each week with work shifts that are usually from 4 to 8 hours in length generally during the hours that Brookfield Zoo is open. From Memorial Day - Labor Day the Zoo is open 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily (Sundays until 7:30 p.m.). After Labor Day until Memorial Day the weekend weekday hours vary from 9:30/10:00 a.m. - 5:00/6:00 p.m. During special events, the Zoo may be open until 9:00/10:00 p.m. This position generally requires flexible availability to
work non-standard hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends. Due to the driving requirement, a valid driver's license is required and you must be at least 18 years of age for this position.This is a temporary (seasonal) position. Starting wage: $9.30 per hour.
The requirements for this position include:
- High School graduate or (GED) equivalent preferred.
- Six months of prior driving experience transporting people preferred, but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Information
