The 10 Minute Gift

Published: Fri, 12/20/13

Dear ,

Are you happy with the amount of time you
and your spouse are able to have together?

If you're in a "typical" marriage, then it's
very likely you're time deprived.

(When Gayle and I I talk about spending time
together, we're not talking about two bodies
physically sharing the same space while the
other is doing his/her own thing.)

How much time do you and your spouse spend
engaging each other?

How much time do you take to play?

Talk?

Read together?

Work on a project?

Make love?

Be friends?

Dream?

Chances are you wish you had more
time together with your spouse.  So here's
a tip to start turning things around:

Over the next 7 days, give yourself the gift
of 10 minutes with your spouse where you don't
talk about work, kids, or stuff that needs to get
done around the house.

10 minutes. Will you do it?

I'd love hear how it went for you. Email me at
[email protected] and let me know.

You must be intentional about the health
of your marriage because it's too easy to
become complacent, indifferent, and
then drift apart.

Quality and quantity time are essential for building
a strong, healthy and happy relationship.

Until next week, this is Mike & Gayle Tucker
and we' want you to be Mad About Marriage!
