1. Don't Leave Home Without It
| The raw food diet is foundational for bringing out your best
possible features at any age. Raw foods are powerfully effective
when it comes to clearing up your complexion and smoothing your
facial wrinkles and lines that arise from simple changes in
underlying fat deposits and connective tissue.
There is another aspect to beauty, however, that you cannot afford
to leave untended. Any facial expression you use repeatedly--frowns
and grimaces, for example--will eventually leave lines on your face.
We're all familiar with the furrowed brow, the purse-string
wrinkles around the mouth, and those crow's feet around the eyes. Read this article for simple must do tips to achieve an Instant
Facelift that you can begin using during this Holiday Season.

| 2. New YouTube Video: Facial Exercises |
Is there anything that can be done with existing folds, creases and wrinkles that make you look unhappy and tired? Absolutely!
Need to achieve a younger look for the holidays? Just as you can
reshape your body through exercise, in the same way you can reshape
your face. Learn how special our facial muscles are, and why you
will more quickly achieve results with facial exercises than with
those for overall fitness, and why these results will be more
dramatic.
Exercises will not only build muscle mass, strengthen and tighten
the underlying structure of your face and neck, but your whole face
will become refreshed, revitalized by the blood flow. As a result,
your complexion becomes more glowing and youthful.
Learn more about the importance of facial exercises and join me in
doing two of them in this YouTube video.
The entire facial exercise routine is outlined in my book Rawsome Flex.

3. Holiday Special...Valid for the Next 48 Hours...Act Now!
| For every order of $100 or more placed in our Natural Beauty Store, you'll receive TWO packages of our Siberian Pine Resin Gum FREE of charge.
If you've ever dieted, you've likely tried chewing gum as an appetite suppressant. Gum works because chewing convinces the brain
and body that you're already eating, and so it "tricks" the hunger mechanism that troubles so many of us--especially during the holidays, when food, too much and often the wrong kind, awaits us
everywhere. But if you're on or are embracing the raw food regime,
you've said goodbye to the conventional chewing gums sold in your
supermarket. Regular gum comes packed with sugar. And all common
commercial chewing gums, sugary or sugarless, are loaded with
chemicals and artificial flavorings.
Our Siberian Pine Resin Gum is completely consistent with the raw
food diet. It's all-natural. It's not sweet. In fact, you'll
find it a little bitter during your first few seconds of chewing.
The bitterness wears off quickly, but your desire to eat wears off
as well.
Whether it's Aunt Martha's holiday feast, or the buffet table at
your office party--temptations abound everywhere. Whether your
concern is eating too much or eating the wrong things, a single
piece of this gum can save you from that temptation. Personally, I
chew it after every meal to clean my teeth and gums, and always
after eating fruit. Chewing stimulates saliva production--the best
sanitizer for mouth and teeth.
Siberian Pine Resin Gum?--What is it, anyway?...It's exactly what
the name says it is--that and no more. It's simply the resin of
certain species of the genus Pinus--pine trees--found in northern
Asia, across the cold Russian steppes. Nature herself squeezes it
from trees, and we package it for you. It's almost like it's meant
to be chewed because it's ideal for chewing only when it gets into
your mouth at body temperature.
We admit--it's different, it's interesting...but you'll quickly learn
to like it. Unlike familiar 'manufactured' chewing gums, Siberian
Gum contains no chemical softeners. Let it sit in your mouth for
five or six seconds before you chew, allowing the Siberian Gum to
soften from its initial 'candy'-like brittleness. If you begin
chewing before it warms up, it will crumble. You'll feel like it's
breaking into small pieces. Don't discard it, just keep chewing,
using your tongue to gather all these pieces in your mouth into one
chunk.
The gum's initial tartness quickly gives way to a neutral flavor
that will do much more than curb your appetite. Pine resin is a
healing substance, with a pronounced antiseptic effect--great for
after-meal teeth cleaning when you can't brush. Its robust
texture--stiffer and longer lasting than the flimsiness of
manufactured gums--gives real exercise to your jaws and teeth,
aiding your dental health, facilitating firm gums and bone growth
as it helps you stick to your chosen diet plan. For the purpose of
exercising your jaws, take 2 to 3 gum pieces at one time and chew.
Siberian Gum may well prove to be a blessing for you that it has
been for our family, as far as dental health is concerned. For
instance, my mom had serious problems with her teeth implants. Her
gums were so soft that they would not hold the implants. So she had
to wear dentures until recently. I talked her ears off about the
necessity of exercising the jaws, and finally she started chewing
our gum. And now she was able to get 7 implants, and on the
last check up the doctor told her they are all rooted nicely.
I will forever be grateful to Victoria Boutenko for introducing this idea of serious gum exercising to me when she developed the Jawcerciser. If you don't yet have this great device, you can still take advantage of our other Siberian Gumspecial: receive one package (5 pieces) of our Siberian Gum FREE with the purchase of one Jawcerciser.

Featured Recipe: Beet Root Delight
This is a raw vegan variation of a traditional Moldavian dish
that's a favorite of my husband's. I recently prepared it for
Nick's mother and she really couldn't believe it was raw. It takes a little preparation, but the result is a truly surprising treat for your taste buds and... your liver.
Ingredients:
3 medium beet roots, peeled and finely shredded
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup macadamia cheese (see below)
1 avocado
6-8 Medjool dates, pits removed
1⁄2 cup walnuts, crushed
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Macadamia Cheese:
Soak 1 and ½ cups raw macadamia nuts overnight. Rinse the nuts and process them in a Vita-Mix or food processor using a minimum amount of fresh water. Then place the resulting mixture in a strainer, loosely cover it with a clean cloth and leave at room temperature for 1-2 days. Next, with a spoon scoop out the macadamia cheese into a fresh container. You can store it in a refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
(Many other recipes which use the Macadamia Cheese are available in Beautiful on Raw: UnCooked Creations.)
Combine shredded beet roots and lemon juice in a bowl and set
aside. Place macadamia cheese, avocado, and dates into a food
processor and puree until creamy. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well with a spoon until the mixture achieves uniform consistency. Eat with a spoon, serve on dehydrated crackers as a dip or use as filling for simple delicious lettuce wraps.
Serves 3-4.
