Happy December Everyone!!
We are truly excited that December is here, such a fun month all around. Although we will not be in the snow, we are planning on a "White Christmas"- white sand that is!

Although we will not be in the snow, we are planning on a "White Christmas"- white sand that is!The last week of November had so much to celebrate, and we are taking the celebration right into December to close out an amazing 2011.
3 years of traveling the world
November 25th marked our 3-year anniversary of traveling the world and living a mobile lifestyle. It is amazing to think it has been that long, it seems like yesterday when we were packing up, selling all our possessions and heading to the airport to begin a journey that we thought would last at most 2 years. 3 years has come and gone and we see no stopping in sight, at least not for a few more years. (But you never know with us.)
Our initial concern was that Hanalei would be the one dictating whether we would continue or not, but for her, traveling on an airplane every 3-4 months to new countries and attending new schools and learning a new language is all she knows. To her, jumping on an airplane and traveling across the world is the equivalent of a taxi ride for most kids.
In the last 3 years Hanalei has gone to school in Bali, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Brasil...now most people would shudder at the idea of their kids making that type of change and be fearful of their adjustment. Well I am happy to report that this little world traveler has never once asked to come home or been fearful of going to school (if she did, I would not hesitate.) She adores the new people she meets and understands that they want to learn her language as much as she does theirs. In fact there have been many days that I have come to school to pick Hanalei up and she is saying English words and the kids are repeating. It is a fabulous feeling to see your child fearless, teaching other kids the ways of world travel, and adjusting to many new cultures.
Our 8th Wedding Anniversary
November 28th was our 8 year anniversary of marriage! Now for many of you that have passed that mark, we salute you!! We are truly proud of our 13 year relationship and 8 year of marriage and living on the road together. Working together 24 hours a day you learn new ways of appreciating your partner.
Upcoming Travel Plans
We are enjoying our last week here in Praia de Pipa and preparing for a week in Rio de Janeiro! Cidade Maravilhosa, or the Marvelous City, as Rio is known. Synonymous with the girl from Ipanema, the dramatic view from Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado Mountain, and famous Carnival celebrations will all be on our list of spots to visit. As for Hanalei, she is excited to see the city where "Blue" from the movie RIO visited.
We will be heading to one of our favorite spots so far on our journey, Bocas del Toro, Panama, for Christmas to see all our friends, get some good surf and celebrate the holiday with our extended family away from home. We will be staying at the Palma Royale www.Palmaroyale.com until February 21st and taking in as much surfing, boating, wakeboarding and Caribbean life as we can...oh a a bit of work as well!
So to close out this year, the UNSTOPPABLE FAMILY wants to thank you all for being amazing supporters, and remind you that it is never too late to start living your dream.
