We are so excited for this month to begin. As many of you know we have been in Peru since May...we started off in Cusco for 2 months and closed out the month of July and the start of August in Mira Flores, Lima.

These last 3 months have been the longest time we have been out of our beach wear in 2.5 years and we are ready to get back to the tropics! Our initial plan was to head to Chile in the beginning of August for some well-missed snowboarding and mountain living, but after 3 months of the cold weather we made a necessary adjustment to head back to the tropics and let the snowboarding wait until next year when we are in the Swiss Alps.

So come August 8th it is happy sunny days again for the Unstoppable Family! We will be back in the warm climate of Praia de Pipa, Brasil, until October, then we will be heading south once the weather in Rio and Florianopolis warms up.

Swano has actually braved the chilly waters with no wetsuit since we arrived in Lima! The water was about 64 degrees and typically requires a thick suit so you can stay in for at least an hour but he couldn't resist going for a surf when we arrived from Cusco to Lima and saw the water.  After 3 surfing bouts....he decided to wait for the tropical water of Brasil.

I am ready to get back to wearing my normal "Business Suit"- my bikini- and lose this extra weight of boots, sweaters, mittens, jacket....and the scarfs! Business just doesn't feel the same without a bikini on.

Hanalei had plenty of fun in Peru, seeing llama's walk the streets and little lambs being carried around by little Peruvian girls, but she too is over the cold. When a 4 year old denies going to the park to watch a movie, you know there is something wrong! So we are pumped to get her back in the sand and sun. In Praia de Pipa they have dolphin swimming, little monkeys and the tropical birds you see in the movie Rio. So she cannot wait to see "Blue" (from the Movie Rio) in person.

So Brasil here we come!
