It's our first newsletter of 2012 and we'd like to wish all our readers a Happy New Year! Remember 2012 is YOUR year!
An Unstoppable Year in 2011
2011 was an incredible year for us- we started the New Year in Panama City Beach, Florida, then went to the annual Panama Jazz Festival in Panama. We hung out with Tim Ferriss in Bocas del Toro and met Jimmy Buffett at the Palma Royale! We partied hard at Carnival, sponsored the 3rd annual Bastimentos Boat Races, and Hanalei had a Magical Unicorn birthday party at the Cosmic Crab Café for her 4th birthday.
We then headed to Peru, where we had our Macbooks and Passports stolen, but we didn't let that get us down. We attended our company's annual Destiny Event at the Monasterio Hotel in Cusco, and explored Machu Picchu- one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We watched the procession for Corpus Christi, hiked to Christo Blanco on the Winter Solstice and observed Inti Raymi at the ruins of Sacsayhuamán. We returned to the ocean and spent a few weeks in Lima, where our old friend and chef Abraham Betencourth kept us well fed.
Brazil was our next destination, and it was time to get our tans back! Brian and Hanalei got our new house in Praia da Pipa ready, whilst I jetted off to Dallas for LifePath Unlimited's Synergy training event. Our typical afternoons in Praia da Pipa were spent eating oysters on the beach, and we even learnt how oysters reproduce! Brian got interviewed on Blogcast FM and spontaneously flew to Rio de Janeiro to see Metallica and Red Hot Chilli Peppers at "Rock in Rio". Hanalei had great fun on Children's Day in Brazil, and whilst the Brazilians don't really celebrate Halloween, she still had fun dressing up as a princess on the holiday.
We released a video of our Inspirational Story to mark our third anniversary of traveling the world, and I managed to cook dinner for everyone on Thanksgiving! We rounded off our South American tour with a week in Rio de Janeiro, then we finally arrived back in Bocas del Toro to spend Christmas with our friends.
What's in store for 2012!
To kick off the New Year we are now in Bocas del Toro, Panama, where we'll be staying for the next month or two! After that, our next destination in 2012 will be Mexico!
Looking back at what we have accomplished, overcome and created in 2011, we are very excited about what lies in store for 2012 if we focus on our goals just a little bit more.

TIP OF THE MONTH: We have learned in 2011 that being Unstoppable, means stopping every once and awhile to appreciate what is in your life. We are so excited about the year ahead! |
