Unstoppable Family April Newsletter

Hi from the Unstoppable Family!

In case you believed our April Fool's Day prank, no we are not moving back to the Midwest to share time between our home states of Michigan and Illinois! In fact we are having the time of our lives traveling the world and our trip won't be ending any time soon.

We pinch ourselves every day because we are living our dreams! We have an amazing family and great friends, we work with an incredible company and we are feeling very much alive.

We are still in Bocas del Toro, Panama and had an incredible weekend at the Bastimentos boat races.

We were proud sponsors of the 3rd annual Bastimentos Boat Races and had to get a banner made within 24 hours! Thankfully, a guy in town painted our Unstoppable Family logo on a 3 x 6 board!

The boat races are held on the last weekend in March each year on the island of Bastimentos in the Bocas del Toro province. It's a fun-filled day of partying on the water with aquatic events, music, food stalls and boats!

The event brings the expat and local community together for a mixture of races including the "Panganitas" race, the "pangas" race and the "Cayuco" paddle races. There's surf paddle races, a log-rolling contest and a "Cayuco" jousting contest.

It was an UNSTOPPABLE weekend with awesome friends, perfect weather, a kiddie pool and floaty rings!

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE UNSTOPPABLE FAMILY?

Whilst we were supposed to be heading to Peru this month, we have decided to extend our stay in Panama because of the amazing school Hanalei is in and the community and culture of Bocas. Hanalei will be celebrating her 4th birthday soon in Panama; last year she celebrated it in Fiji! She's certainly a well-traveled girl!

Swano is taking his own "surfing hyatis" to the Pacific side of Panama where the waves are much bigger. Meanwhile, Hanalei and I will stay in Bocas and enjoy Mommy-daughter time with spa days and beach days, whilst keeping the business in order.

Swano will take his laptop with him, so business will be as usual in the Unstoppable Family household! How brilliant is that! That is the luxury of having a portable business; you can pack up your laptop and take a ten day surfing excursion whilst still keeping on top of work.

We are very excited to have found a traveling nanny to go with us to Peru in May and to continue with us through the year. We realise that consistency with Hanalei and her education is vital, so we met a wonderful girl, Eva, who is from the UK and will help us while we run our business during the day. Eva has been traveling for years and she is open to continue traveling with our family and teach Hanalei Spanish.

Lastly, we have a new video for you from Puerto Rico. Watch it by clicking here

In the video we talk about our lifestyle, how traveling the world has changed our lives and our Unstoppable Giving project. We'd love your feedback so please feel free to leave a comment!
