Why Torture Yourself by Remaining Covered?

Why torture yourself when you could be tasting unlimited bliss at every minute? This is simply a matter of common sense. Your actual nature is eternal, full of bliss, and full of knowledge, while your covered nature is temporary, full of ignorance, and misery.  Instead of being covered by ignorance and misery you can uncover your actual nature and be swimming in an ocean of unlimited bliss at every minute. You don't need to be a rocket scientist or a Phd to figure out which is better: your covered nature or your uncovered nature.

So if you are ready to uncover your consciousness and be who you actually are, you've come to right place. In this course I will teach you how to fully situate yourself in your eternal all-blissful, all-knowing nature. All you have to do is hear me and follow my instructions.

Questions and Answers by the Sacred Yamuna River--7 November 2015

Question: Save a Drowning Man?

I know we should think of Krishna at every moment. Does this mean we should chant rather than help someone in need? My thoughts are that the two are not mutually exclusive. Take this example: If a devotee sees a man in the river drowning, should he simply chant and be happy, should he preach to the man until he dies or, should he save the man's life?

Your servant,
Bhakta Russell

Answer: Save Him From Both of His Drownings

If someone is drowning, first rescue him from the water and then because he is also drowning in the ocean of birth and death, you should then rescue from drowning in the that ocean by making him Krishna conscious. Until you have done rescues both you have not actually saved him from drowning.  In other words, what is good is saving his body only, if he is going to be a worm in stool in his next birth.
