Krishna's Devotee is Always Enthusiastic |
In his purport to Bhagavad-gita 18.26 Srila Prabhupada wonderfully describes how Krishna's devotee is always enthusiastic:
"A person in Krsna consciousness is always transcendental to the material modes of nature. He has no expectations for the result of the work entrusted to him, because he is above false ego and pride. Still, he is always enthusiastic
till the completion of such work. He does not worry about the distress undertaken; he is always enthusiastic. He does not care for success or failure; he is equal in both distress and happiness. Such a worker is situated in the mode of goodness."
So now we have to train ourselves to always be like this. This will be the perfection of our existence.

Complaint: Krishna is Not Correct
It is not correct for Lord Krishna to ask me to make choices: “Do you want Me, or do you want to
pursue your passions of witchcraft, wicca, sorcery, and occult. Yes, this very enticing, but you cant have both."
Aroh Answer: Krishna is Perfectly Facilitating You
Krishna is kindly giving you the choice whether or not you would to be His devotee. The greatest magic is to
deliver the souls who are suffering in the cycle of birth and death back to their original home in the spiritual world by preaching pure bhakti. If you want to engage in this sort of magic, that is very nice. If so, you can be both a devotee and a magician at the same time. Otherwise a devotee has no interest in the magic of manipulating the material energy for material sense gratificatory purposes because he finds this to be a complete waste of
his time and energy.
