Why Suffer When Life Is Meant for Enjoyment?

 Why
is it that even though life is meant for enjoyment that
practically everyone in this material world is
miserable? Even the wealthy, famous, and successful are
miserable, so what to speak of those who are struggling
every day like beasts of burden simply to fill their
bellies and get a place to lie down and sleep at night.
The reason that misery has become the common denominator
of the human society is that everyone has a false
conception of who they are. Everyone wants
self-satisfaction, but since they do not know what is
the actual self, even though they endeavor ever so
strenuously for satisfaction, they never actually
achieve it. It is something like trying to build up your
bank balance by making deposits into the wrong account.
It will never be successful. So if you want actual
satisfaction, you need to know scientifically who are as
an eternal spiritual being and then always act for your
ultimate welfare by reviving your lost loving
relationship with the Supreme Spirit, the Supreme
Personality of Godhead.

Question: Does Initiation Guarantee Liberation? |

Does initiation from the
bona fide spiritual master guarantee that we will go
back to Godhead? Or is it that we might take birth
again, if we fall down? What if we do not fall down in
spiritual progress?

Answer: Only If One
Strictly Follows Sri Guru |
|
|
If you accept initiation
and strictly follow your spiritual master's
instructions, your going back to home at the end of this
lifetime is assured. However, if you deviate from his
instructions and maintain your material attachments, you
will be facilitated by Lord Krishna to satisfy your
material desires by being granted another birth in this
material world. So the key is that, if one wants to
become free from all material miseries for all of
eternity, one should take complete shelter of the bona
fide spiritual master and undeviatingly follow his instructions throughout
one's
entire life.
